There is always that chance I might fall off the edge.
As I'm enjoying my temporary surroundings I still think to myself how vulnerable I am.
There are three possible routes. Going up. Going down. Going to the sides.
Each of them have the potential of letting me stay.
If I go sideways I won't go anywhere but in circles.
If I go up I might get somewhere.
If I go down I will go somewhere but it all depends on how I get there.
If I've been thrown off guard I will have to get back up and try again regardless all the work I have done before. It might hurt.
If I go down on my own account then I have given up but will choose to restart again and with less weight in my pack. Or maybe I have just given up that path to start a search for a new one.
I'm afraid of some of these situations. But at some point in my life I'll probably
have to do all of them.

I'll just have a rest and have some water to rethink what has been and could be.
